Korean women have a pretty detailed routine for their skin and hair, which they follow religiously, and that is one of the main reasons why these women have flawless skin and hair. But today, we are here to discuss their hair care routine that includes 6 simple steps. If you always dreamt to have strong, glossy, and silky hair, you should definitely give the 6-step Korean hair care routine a try.
We have created a step-by-step guide for you that will help you achieve healthy and lustrous locks in no time.

Step 1- Exfoliation

Exfoliation is one of the main keys to healthy and glowing skin, and you can use this approach for your hair too. Indulging in regular scalp exfoliation will help you get rid of product build-up, dead skin cells, grime, oil, and dirt from your scalp, which won’t only help to stimulate dormant hair follicles but will also boost hair growth. You can exfoliate your scalp using a boar bristled brush; it won’t only help to evenly distribute the natural oils in your scalp but will also remove the impurities from your scalp.

Step 2- Cleanse

After you are done getting rid of dirt, impurities, and product build-up from your scalp, it’s time to clean your scalp and hair thoroughly, and that’s where cleansing comes into the picture. You should look for shampoos and hair conditioners that are formulated using hair-loving ingredients so that your hair feels refreshed and rejuvenated post hair wash.

Step 3- Massage

Massaging can do absolute wonders, no matter if it’s your skin or scalp. Korean hair care routine is slightly different from ours, and when it comes to cleansing hair using a shampoo, they don’t follow the typical method that involves rubbing the shampoo and rinsing it with water, instead they massage the shampoo into the scalp for a few minutes before rinsing it with water. This massaging trick helps to improve the blood circulation in the scalp and allows better absorption of hair products to follow.

Step 4- Condition

Most women often skip conditioning their hair, which is such a huge loss to their precious locks. Conditioner not only helps to deliver intense hydration to your tresses but also helps to repair the tips. The tips of your hair are much drier than the rest of your hair, which is why it’s imperative to apply conditioner to the lengths and tips of your hair to keep it moisturized.

Step 5- Mask

Although conditioner helps to deliver a boost of hydration to your mane, it isn’t enough to keep your locks hydrated. This is where hair masks come into the picture. Deep-nourishing hair masks help to deliver extra shine and goodness to your hair. You can either prepare hair masks at home, or you can purchase them from the market, just make sure to use a hair mask that contains nourishing ingredients like argan oil, olive oil, etc. After letting the mask sit on your wet hair for 10-15 minutes, you can wash it off.

Step 6- Serum

Hair serums are loaded with active ingredients that not only repair and nourish your scalp but also condition it. You should invest in a serum that addresses your hair’s needs and concerns in the best possible way. Applying hair serum to your locks won’t only protect them from environmental aggressors but will also help to nourish your scalp.
