How To Apply Skincare Products In Correct Order

It’s not important how expensive skincare products are you using rather crucial is the order in which you are using them. The order of application of skincare is crucial in reaping the maximum benefits of the skincare products. With so many skincare products in the market, it gets quite confusing what to use and how to use it. When you don’t follow the correct order of application your skin might face these three problems: they may not penetrate, they may be less effective, and you could harm your skin.
You might be having the most amazing skincare products in the world, but if you’re applying them in the wrong order, you could be wasting your precious time mad money too. We don’t want that, do we? We all are aware of the usual CTMS Routine i.e. cleansing, toning, moisturizing, and sunscreen(in the morning), but this feed will provide you some extra internal guide to use the skincare products that you may not be aware of, so stay in tune.
Here, is your guide that will provide you the right order that you need to follow while applying your favorite skincare products.

Cleanser

The first step in skincare is washing your face with your favorite cleanser that for sure compliments your skin type. If you’ve oily skin go for more gel-based cleansers, dry skin should opt for cream-based cleansers for a little hydration, and acne-prone skin should look for salicylic acid as the star ingredient in cleansers before buying.
As an overall tip for all skin types looks for sulfate-free cleansers. Don’t apply too much as it will strip off your natural moisture, a little goes well.

Physical Exfoliant

Physical Exfoliants are best to get rid of dead skin cells, giving your skin a smoother and cleaner look. You can it after your normal cleansing. Take a coin size amount and gently massage all over your face. Voila! You are done.
Remember don’t go overboard with exfoliation. Do it 2 times a week. Oily skin ladies or acne-prone skin can go for chemical exfoliators that do not have harsh granules and is mild in texture.

Toner

Toners help in removing that excessive stubborn dirt that your cleanser was unable to. They are used after cleaning your face or after physical exfoliation.
This is based on the double cleansing system. Toners do wonders for your skin. These help in minimizing the open pores maintains the actual pH balance of your skin and keeps that extra oil at a bay. Some toners have glycolic acids that work great for removing that extra dead skin; you can skip physical exfoliation in that case.

Face serums

When applying your skincare from here, try to apply products in order from thinnest to thickets. A light hydrating serum such as hyaluronic acid serum is great to start with. You can also niacinamide serum they are great too! Thicker products block the absorption of products that follow so try thinnest to the thicker application of products. In the morning go with light serums and in the night you can use a heavy serum for that extra hydration.

Eye creams

You need a separate cream for your eyes especially when you are in your 20’s. It’s the time when your eyes need extra care to prevent them from facing issues like dullness and dark circles.
There are different eye creams to go with. But try using a lightweight eye cream in the morning.

Moisturizer

We are about the finish the order. The market is flooded with a lot of moisturizers. The one you use should depend on your skin type. If you are oily skin go for gel-like texture and dry skin can opt for more cream-like moisturizers for that ample amount of hydration. Acne-prone skin should see non- comedogenic moisturizers that do not clog your pores welcoming skin issues. At last, it’s optional you can use face mist to set everything in place. Though it’s not necessary for you to that.
