If the area around your eyes appears a lot darker than the rest of your facial skin tone, take it as an indication that you have got pretty bad dark circles under the eyes. Although dark circles are pretty common among everyone granting our lifestyles, eating habits, erratic sleep schedules, and other things, in some cases, these dark circles can look the worse, and they certainly shouldn’t be left untreated. This problem is faced by both men and women, and while it can be camouflaged using makeup, that definitely is not a permanent fix. There are also some days when your dark circles look a lot more prominent than on usual days, especially when you have had a late night.
Dark circles can easily bring your beauty game down and make you look tired, which is why it’s important to treat them, and there can be no better way to treat your dark circles than using natural remedies at home. We have jotted down a list of some quick and effective ways to reduce dark circles and make them appear less prominent.

Rosewater

Rosewater is extremely soothing and cooling in nature. It feels very gentle on the skin and feels quite hydrating. And since it is known to contain astringent properties, it helps in rejuvenating your skin and makes it appear fresh and glowy. Also, rosewater is lightweight, it can penetrate deeper into the layers of your skin and delivers the results pretty quickly. You can use it by placing rosewater soaked cotton pads over your eyes, let them sit for about 20 minutes, and you will notice the difference within the first use itself.

Green Tea Bag

Green tea is extremely beneficial for every individual both internally and externally. Dilated blood vessels result in dark circles, and one of the best and most effective ways to treat them is by using green tea bags. Since green tea bags are rich in antioxidants and tannins, these two work wonderfully to reduce the appearance of the dark circles by helping in constricting the blood vessels. You can place two green tea bags in the refrigerator after dipping them in cold water, and after some time, you can use them to place over your closed eyelids for 15-20 minutes.

Honey

It is a very well known fact that honey is extremely beneficial for the skin. Aside from addressing several skin woes like acne and dryness, it also helps in reducing the appearance of dark circles. With the regular use of this ingredient, you can erase your stubborn dark circles in no time and make the under-eye area appear brighter. Apply a tiny amount of honey on your under-eye area, massage it gently for a couple of minutes, and you will be good to go. You can do this step twice a day.

Oil massage

Massaging your under-eye area with calming and cooling oil can treat your dark circles pretty effectively. Argan oil, coconut oil, and almond oil are some of the best options to consider, they not only help in calming the nerves and making the under-eye area feel at ease, but they also help in boosting the blood circulation, which, in turn, makes the dark circles look less prominent.

Sandalwood powder

Sandalwood powder is also quite an amazing way to treat dark circles. It is packed with soothing and calming properties, which plays a major role in reducing the appearance of dark circles. You can easily find this powder at the stores, and it’s also quite easy to use.
